Les Toqués Du Terroir

Chloé Safra and Clarie Feral have been friends since high school: one was a TV journalist specializing in agriculture and the food industry; the other, from the famous Ferrandi school, is the chef at restaurant Key West. In 2021 they decided to open a shop in Trou- ville dedicated to quality Norman produce. For over a year they paced up and down the region, meeting with producers to unearth the crème de la crème of local fare.

“Experience Normandy from farm to table” No, it’s not yet another boutique for tourists, but a kind of old-school grocery for fruits, vegetables, spirits, dairy, charcuterie, meats (to order), honey, jam, cosmetics, and handmade crafts. The boutique, spread out over two levels on rue des Bains, is beau- tiful, mixing good taste with tradition. Above all, for Chloé and Clarie it’s a place of true values: the best quality products, supporting local producers in a short supply chain, organic where possible, and a spirit of welcome and conviviality.
