La Cave, Le Repère Des Vignerons Equemauville
Le Repère des Vignerons (The Winegrowers’ Reference) is the name of two beautiful wine cellars where a team of young wine merchants share their mutual passion of the quintessential product of French soil. Their approach is to be the relay between winegrowers and customers and to tell the stories of the wine. The Équemauville location is celebrating 10 years of business, and its little sister in Pont-L’Évêque opened in 2017. In both, you can find the classics and unearth little-known gems. Charles, Pierre, Kévin, Clément, and Peter think of themselves as storytellers, loving to spend time with the winegrowers to handpick the wines before becoming their relay to the customers. Individuals and professionals alike can choose among more than 500 references in wine and 100 in spirits. Le Repère des Vignerons offers big names in wines as well as winegrowers newer on the scene, and all types of viticultures (organic, biodynamic, and natural). La Cave has the privilege of working with certain winegrowers by allocation, sharing limited quantities with a select number of wine merchants. For those who love to expand their palate, tasting soirees are organised every month by reservation. The Équemauville location has been improved with a new wine bar, open year-round, called La Table du Repère, offering a selection of wines, charcuterie, and Italian cheeses, on the terrace in nice weather or otherwise next to the fireplace. Do not miss their 5th winegrowers’ expo which will take place in Pont-l’Évêque in March 2025.
