L'Endroit
At the heart of Honfleur sits François Rabel’s atypical restaurant, L’Endroit. You will think you’ve stepped into a New York loft when you enter the spacious dining room with an open kitchen, soft lighting, and modern décor. The menu is set at the last moment as they await the arrivals of the local greengrocers and fishermen, sometimes literally just off the boat. What results is a refined French cuisine made with fresh, seasonal, local products. Delight in the beautiful wine cellar, the ageing cellar for meats, the smoker oven on the rooftop terrace for smoking fish, and the outside rotisserie in summer. Two jazz evenings are organised the first Thursday and Friday of the month. For these occasions, reservations are recommended.
