Olivier Bertran de Balanda and Philippe Charon began their gastronomic journey in Shanghai, but homesickness brought them back to Normandy several years ago. Their bistro, Fanfaron, features an ultra-fresh menu with a wine selection to die for, in a warm and elegant seaside ambiance. The menu changes nearly every day to guarantee a creative and high-quality cuisine made from beautiful seasonal ingredients, sourced almost exclusively locally. Wine connoisseurs Olivier and Philippe have built a menu of wine, champagne, and spirits of over 300 names with as many classics as new gems to discover (including organic, biodynamic, and natural wines). With two terraces in the heart of Deauville, beautiful materials, and furniture made in France, Fanfaron keeps its old soul.
