AAÏN is at once an art house, a brand, and a philosophy. Alyette founded it on the desire to share the stories and the craft of artisans she has had the pleasure of meeting during her long- distance trips. The dreamlike and poetic word AAÏN is borrowed from the language of the Wayúu, one of the indigenous communities of Colombia, and is defined as the essence of the home, that is, heart, soul, spirit, thought, and passion. After working with luxury brands in Paris for 10 years, Alyette became attached to the authenticity and ancestral know-how of the communities she encountered in Colombia when she was living there. Today she continues her journey from Dinard, offering a timeless and inspiring selection of limited-edition items, available on her website and Instagram page.
