Famille Dupont
Behind the label of internationally known Domaine Dupont is an estate vibrating in the heart of the cider route, a must-see for a visit of the distillery, the 86 acres of organic orchards, as well as its entire range of hard apple cider and Calvados (apple brandy).
Domaine Dupont boasts 15000 apple trees of 13 different varieties, all organically grown on an estate belonging to the Dupont family for 4 generations. The Dupont family is innovating the craft of cider making with its limited-edition range, Inspiration. In it you’ll find “Blanc de pomme” a still cider of a single variety of apple, full of freshness, which pairs particu- larly well with seafood. Another new arrival for 2022, “Cydon”, born of fermenting an apple-quince duo, which produces a fine cider to accompany your desserts.
The domain is also a haven of peace to experience the humble apple, with music every Wednesday from July 20 to August 20, discovery workshops for distilling and bottling Calvados, and of course guided visits of the estate.
