Advocates of local food networks, and foodies in search of quality ingredients, will have their fill at Parfum Poivre, owned by the young Chef Alexandre Gournay and his wife for the past 9 years. The restaurant has become an institution in Granville for its meats, grilled in the restaurant’s own fireplace! Try the tasty prime rib, the beautiful veal chop, the juicy rack of lamb, and the lamb shoulder confit, and pair them with one of 90 wines. The beef comes from cattle raised locally, the pork is certified Bleu-Blanc-Cœur, and the lamb comes from Avranches. The cream, butter, and milk are all from Longs-Champs Farm in Tessy-Bocage. Dessert lovers can enjoy the chocolate mousse and the tiramisu served family-style; for generosity, authenticity, and hospitality are in Parfum Poivre’s DNA.
