Espromer

Trouville-based company Espromer has two specialties: large grey snails with butter, presented in their shells or as a small appetizer to share; and stuffed shellfish (scallops, clams, cockles, and mussels) with parsley butter. Since 1993, Espromer has continually invented new recipes, like lemon-basil butter and curry-coriander butter. Recently, the range has expanded to stuffed Norman oysters. All Espromer products are made the artisanal way, without additives and with French ingredients (parsley, garlic, shallot, Norman butter). They have been awarded several times, and their renowned snails are exported all the way to Thailand. The workshop is open to the public Monday to Thursday 8am–12pm and 1pm–4:30pm, and Friday morning 8am–12pm.
