Café Forges
After earning their stripes at LVMH, Julie and Lucas Armellini have made Café Forges, a former smithy, into a bistro whose entire menu, down to the desserts, is 100% French and sourced by sustainable farming. Accustomed to working with only the finest products, Julie (in the front of the house) and Lucas (in the kitchen) deliver an impeccable service in a warm, convivial atmosphere. Cooking over the open flame of the large fireplace in the dining room are beautiful pieces of meat, like their prime rib of beef and veal chop. At lunch on weekdays, you’ll be tempted by the Market Menu (appetizer, main course, dessert) and at dinner by the à la carte items and chef’s specials. Don’t miss the Norman rump steak, duck breast, artisanal andouillette, and calf’s head in mustard sauce.
