Caroline Champenois
Parisian interior designer Caroline Champenois has been rehabilitating and renovating homes for 20 years. She decided to head for Trouville-sur-Mer to oversee several projects per year in the Pays d’Auge. She loves bringing her clients’ dream holiday homes to life, whether on the seaside or in the countryside, from the Anglo–Norman fisherman’s house to the garret to the apartment. Her designs combine simplicity, charm, and modernity. As much a perfectionist and visionary as she is enamoured with beauty, she counts on local artisans to support her until the finishing touches, always in direct communication with her clients. Her favourite materials include slate, wood, stone, wool, rope, and sisal, and she uses natural tones that work with those of the surroundings for harmony and authenticity.
